Love Wins

This whole album was inspired by an African Proverb I read years ago. It has stayed in my heart awaiting for a time, place to be expressed through. This gospel is That Love wins.
An African proverb ( Himba people)
A pregnant woman and the tribes' Shaman to listen until they hear the unborn child’s song. They attune to it and begin singing it aloud together quietly. Then, they return and teach the melody to the wider village. When the child is born, the entire community gathers to sing to the newborn with that same song.
Later, at puberty, initiation, marriage—and even approaching death—the community again gathers and sings that person’s song in ceremony.
If at any time someone’s behavior damages social harmony, the person is placed in the center of the circle, and the tribe sings their song to remind them of their identity—not to shame or punish, but to heal and return them to grace.
A friend is someone who knows your song and sings it when you’ve forgotten it.
Though many retellings refer generically to “an African tribe,” the Himba people’s tradition in Namibia aligns with the core of this mythic, ancestral practice.💿 Album Intention: Love Wins

It’s the current that moves mountains, the vibration that breaks generational chains, the revolution that begins within.
These songs were born from fire, tears, laughter, and truth.
They carry the echoes of every heart that chose to soften instead of harden, to stay open when closing would’ve been easier.
They are anthems for the brave, for the ones who keep loving — even when it’s not returned, even when it hurts, even when it asks everything.
Let this album be your companion on the days when you question your worth, your voice, your power.
Let it remind you that your softness is your strength, and that no weapon is stronger than a heart rooted in truth.
You were never too much.
You were the medicine.
Love doesn’t always shout.
Sometimes it sings.
Sometimes it whispers.
But it always wins.
